Meet the Instructors

Senior Master Chrissy Foulds – Chief Instructor

Senior Master Chrissy Foulds began martial arts while looking for a new hobby and to improve her own self-defence skills when walking home from work in the evenings. As she progressed through training, she discovered the wider benefits martial arts could offer—not just for herself, but for families and children too.

After earning her Black Belt, she chose to teach so she could help others experience the same confidence, growth and personal development. Today, her favourite part of running the Leeds East academy is watching students grow in both confidence and skill as they progress through their martial arts journey.

Master Ashleigh Gibson – Program Director

Master Ashleigh Gibson supports students across all age groups and helps ensure every student receives high-quality coaching, encouragement and structure throughout their training journey.

All instructors are certified black belts, DBS checked, fully insured and professionally trained in teaching the AEGIS system safely and effectively.
