Our First Ladies Self Defence Event Was A Great Success!
Our first Ladies Self Defence Event, which took place at our Leeds North Academy, happened earlier this month.
It was attended by women from areas like Horsforth, West Park, Adel, Alwoodley and Rawdon & the feedback from the session has been great!
These session are not designed to teach details martial arts techniques, we don't really have the time to properly go into them plus its likely this type of information would be quickly forgotten.
Instead, we focus on simple, easy to remember skills & principles that can help make you feel more confident & safer. Learning how to utilise your voice, control & manage your space effectively and how to make yourself a difficult target.
Everyone had a great time and seemed to get a lot out of the content!
We still have 3 more to go, looking forward to providing some valuable lesson for more women.
